On location across the UK and Europe
For major international film studios and production companies
Established in 2013.
For 10 years we've been raising the standards for temporary power supply to the film and television sector.
Pholex was founded by Neil Ashton, an electrical and mechanical engineer, with the sole purpose of providing temporary power and lighting with unrivaled safety and service levels.
We are an independant business.
Our green credentials
Pholex is a modern, forward-looking company, and we understand that we have our own responsibility to the environment, as well as that of our clients.
We continually undertake research and development to ensure our power and distribution service is as efficient and sustainable as we can make it. We regularly review and update our processes as part of a self-imposed commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and moving our industry forward collectively.
One such process, Data Logging, is unique within the Film & TV sector - this process allows us to monitor electrical usage over a short period of time, and then optimise power supply in order to save fuel and reduce costs.
Also important as part of our green drive, our entire fleet of company vehicles is now either hybrid of fully electric, and our vans run on HVO fuel which is significantly greener than standard diesel. In fact, every aspect of our business is analysed to ensure that our part of the production process is as green as it can be.
Our people
The Pholex team grows year on year, and we now have a team of 15+ qualified electricians to support our customers at sites across the UK and Europe.
Keeping the ship moving in the right direction are our management team:
